The Chosen Ones.

Please note also, I am not trying to be precise with timelines but rather to capture a sense of how certain events unfolded, in the lead up to the US election, as I observed on the social media platform X. Obviously there are many important events which are not included here. This time was full of twists and turns and impossible to capture everything. Buckle up, and here we go….
I left the platform known as ‘Twitter’ a couple of years back. The toxicity on the platform had become unbearable with Donald Trump encouraging a new level of open dishonesty. I was withdrawing from engaging in politics at the time anyway, to take care of my own life. It was somewhat a relief to know Trump had been banned from Twitter for sharing misinformation, and also a relief that after not being re-elected after his first term, he was no longer taking up so much global bandwidth. Even here in Australia, when Trump, as president of the USA, opened his mouth, whatever he said, it would be reported widely by the media. It felt like this was taking a toll on our collective mental health and standards of integrity.
There was relative peace for a few years. Then Elon Musk bought the platform, to facilitate Trump’s voice again, as he worked towards reelection in 2024, and changed the platform’s name to ‘X’.
I came back initially to share my blog posts and build an audience via the network. However it quickly became clear it wasn’t the platform for that. Although not yet back on the platform, and posting from his Truth Social network which he had created once banned from Twitter, Trump’s messaging was being transferred loud and clear onto X via his supporters. Meanwhile a genocide was unfolding in Palestine, backed by arms sold to Israel, mostly by America.
So I abandoned any thoughts of posting about my art or my writing, donned a handmade aluminium can warriors helmet as my profile pic and silently surfed the trending hashtags.
The first thing I noticed was a spat between Elon Musk and Stephen King, who was refusing to stop calling ‘X’ Twitter. But I quickly realised this reflected something much bigger….
Elon Musk was heavily invested in the outcome of the election, and certain accounts and hashtags were amplified accordingly, while others were shadow banned or shut down completely.
Ironic that Elon claimed to champion free speech…
As far as the US election was going, Biden seemed bamboozled by Trump’s tactics, insults and outlandish mistruths. Biden never seemed to be prepared for it. Perhaps after 4 years Trump had simply worn Biden down. The first presidential debate was held, and #SleepyJoe trended as Joe lagged in the polls, inspiring memecoins and betting odds 9:1. Even I took out a bet, thinking surely goodness and character will prevail, and at those odds, what’s there not to lose?
But Biden, although wagging his finger at Israel for the increasingly alarming attacks on hospitals and schools in Gaza, kept supplying them with ammunition, which made him more and more unpopular amongst the people. It almost felt like Biden was competing for Netanyahu’s favour, against Trump, Netanyahu’s favourite contender.
All seemed to be going well for Trump. His die hard supporters already saw him as the ‘chosen one’.
Trump was not so convinced…
But he seized on the opportunity, and he rode with it, courting the far-right Christian population, allowing them to believe as they wanted.
At the same time, many people believed Trump to be the ‘Antichrist’

Then an apparent assassination attempt on Trumps life catapulted him to new heights.
Buoyed by the idea that the democrats were behind the shooting, (even though the shooter evidently was a republican leaning kid who was bullied at school), more memecoins ensued. #FightFightFight trended. Trump captilised by putting the image on tote bags and t-shirts.
The ensuing fury and furore crowned the Führer as the Republican contender, wearing an ear bandage at the Republican convention:

Meanwhile, all over X #staged trended.
And when trumps ear miraculously appeared healed a short time later, more suspicion was fuelled:
Eventually Sleepy Joe was coerced, or so it seems, to let his VP Kamala Harris step into the ring, much to the displeasure of Trump, who had been aiming his campaign at sleepy Joe’s pace and was unprepared for the surge from the young generation which rose up to celebrate Kamala smiley vitality and capacity to face felons as a prosecutor. She would be the one to face Trump with his 34 felony convictions. Kamala as a warrior saviour favoured the meme action.

Meanwhile Israel continued bombing Gaza. Each week we wondered how many red lines could there be to cross? Hospitals destroyed, hospital staff and patients shot at. ‘We want our hostages back’ the Israeli’s cried, while Palestinian hostages of all ages and genders were filling Israeli prisons. We were starting to regularly see images of children who had died, were seriously maimed or orphaned.
Each day, another bombing, civilians moved to a ‘safe’ area only to be bombed again. As protests raged around the world, and echoed around the UN chamber,
Israel and it’s supporters deflected with cries of ‘terrorists’ and ‘antisemitism’’
and nothing was done to help the Palestinians. In fact, the US kept supplying arms to Israel, even after they said they wouldn’t continue. More and more red lines crossed. 2000 Pound bombs, which are illegal to use in civilian areas.
But US domestic politics were still the main event on X. Although this administration were funding genocide in Gaza, I too wanted Kamala to win. I couldn’t bear another 4 years of hearing Trump over the airwaves. As I said, even from Australia, that man drives me insane. And Trump is definitely worse when it comes to Gaza. I shudder to think what will happen to Palestine if he gets in. Remember how moving the US embassy to Jerusalem was the first thing he did when he was last president? Fuelling an intifada, which arguably lead to the attacks by Hamas in Israel on October 7th…
My account was very quickly limited. It was clear my early posts making fun of Elon and Trump did not get me off to a good start on X. Shadow banned, my posts hardly reached anyone, I was reduced to a troll, only getting noticed when I commented on other people’s posts. Elon Musk who frequently retweeted false information and continuously promoted propaganda, shared this:
Netanyahu visited the USA, and Kamala in protest didn’t attend his address to congress. Some interpreted this as disingenuous, when the Biden-Harris administration were still funding genocide. Others were outraged at her snub. It seemed like she couldn’t win.
Those who attended Netanyahu’s address stood and applauded the war criminal in adulation.
Meanwhile Netanyahu was hosted personally by Trump at Mar A Lago. Rumours circulated, that they made a deal: No ceasefire in Gaza till after the US election. Trump hosting Netanyahu broke a federal law, but by now perhaps the sheer amount of lawsuits against Trump had everyone exhausted. It seemed he could get away with anything.
And still:
X, the most nihilistic of letters, symbolising fatality, crossing over to another dimension: a transcendence, transformation, or transmigration, an occult symbol for Satan, a void, a null, an error, a cancellation. The letter which crossed out Jesus.
Trump is found guilty of defaming a E. Jean Carroll, a woman whom he was found guilty of sexual assaulting, and at his press conference, says that he couldn’t have possibly raped her, as she wouldn’t have been a ‘chosen one.’
But still right-wing Christians hailed Trump as their hero. He is god’s lamb. He must be protected. Yes, yes, he is the chosen one, the ‘flawed leader’. Chosen to subdue all other dictators, unite them in one common Abrahamic intention.
Never mind “How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?” (Matthew 7:3-5)
Never mind ‘Forget about the wrong things people do to you, and do not try to get even. Love your neighbour as you love yourself.’ (Leviticus 19:18)
Never mind ‘Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her’ (John 8:7). Trump supporters cried ‘PAEDOPHILES!’ and ‘Release the #EpsteinFiles’. Trump shared an AI generated image of Kamala with Diddy.
Even though it appears there’s less verified photos of Trump with his children than there is of Trump with Diddy.
And Trump with Epstein? There are also plenty. Trump shows up 7 times on Epstein’s ‘Lolita Express’ flight logs. Yet still Trump supporters await in anticipation- Trump will release the ‘Epstein Files’, and save our children from the evil democrat paedophiles.
No wonder #EpsteinWasMurdered still did the rounds.
Meanwhile, Elon Musk, who had refused to release information that would support Epstein’s victims in court, and was a known associate of Ghislaine Maxwell who trafficked minors on behalf of Epstein…
said in an interview that the Democrats are so popular because many people are afraid of the ‘Epstein client list’ being released.
It’s not surprising either that #projection was trending…

In the final leg towards the election, Israel started to really go for it, bombing Gaza all they could, while they could. Each day more and more footage is posted on X showing the lives of people, taken away so brutally. Refugee tents destroyed by 2000-pound bombs, people burning alive. All can see the hell Israel are unleashing.
Not even South Africa taking Israel to court for genocide would stop it. Repeated warnings from the UN did nothing. The Biden-Harris administration continued supplying arms to Israel. The world was asking, why are we seeing so many dead children?
But still there were hopes for Harris. #MadamePresident trended. Indeed she did come across as calm and solid, a steady hand. Sound policies. She hasn’t had long to campaign, but she sounds promising. Come on Kamala. You can do it. You can be elected. But please, stand up to Israel!
A republican senator who calls himself a Christian posts a link to buy decals online of Harris kidnapped in the back of a ute. It seems there are no longer red lines anywhere. X has become the wild west.
In the lead up to the 2nd presidential debate between Trump and Harris, Trump’s running mate JD Vance triggered a misinformation campaign centred around claims that Haitians were eating people’s pets in the town of Springfield.
AI generated memes were flying everywhere. Trump rescuing dogs and cats from the clutches of blood thirsty Haitians, as #SaveOurPets trended.
Then at the debate there was this great moment which started #TheyreEatingTheDogs trending (and this is one of the funniest of videos ever):
The betting odds started to tip in Kamala’s favour but still favouring Trump. Again I placed a bet, at odds 2.5- 1.47. Surely sanity will prevail? OMG what is this X platform doing to me?
Then Hurricane Helene came in, followed by Hurricane Milton. Rumours were swirling that the hurricanes were government generated, aimed to prevent the red states from voting. Indeed, aimed straight for Mar A Lago…

Once the Hurricanes made landfall, Trump took full advantage of the situation. Claiming responsibility for aid which Biden had enacted, and taking responsibility for the work done by charity.
It is a fair question to ask where were Biden and Kamala. They were busy it seems sending more troops to support Israel who were preparing to invade Lebanon!
A council of Arab leaders offered to negotiate a peace plan, to keep Israel safe if they declare a Palestinian state. It was the perfect opportunity for Kamala and Joe to support Israel to negotiate with their neighbours rather than back them up with more ammunition. But it went ignored. And barely made the news.
Israel amplified their attacks. It was like they had been given a blank cheque and knew they were on short notice. X started to become flooded with footage and images of dead children, unlike never seen before.
Footage after footage, image after image of children’s lives destroyed.
I changed my name to reflect my position and shared everything I could in comments on Kamala’s posts. I started to become the biggest troll.
But when Kamala was asked about her stance on Gaza in a CNN interview, she seguaed away from genocide towards inflation.
The images kept coming. Images of abuse, of murder, of destruction. Come on Kamala, you can do this, stand up to Israel!
It seemed that Kamala and Biden were doing Trump’s dirty work for him. Enacting the the genocide on Trump’s behalf at Netanyahu’s bidding.
Clearing the land, ready for Israel to swarm in and grab it, with plenty of opportunities for Trump’s family real estate connections.
And let’s not forget, what happened last time Trump was president:
Yep, Trump had set the ball in motion. But Biden and Harris will go down in history as funding a genocide shamelessly. #GenocideJoe and #HolocaustHarris would not stop trending. Kamala and Joe, what the fuck are you doing? Why don’t you make yourselves the chosen ones, and choose to stop this genocide?
Trump continued his campaign trail. Elon joined Trump and jumped around stage as if possessed by the devil, or at least high on stimulants.
While Kamala was accused of being the antichrist for telling hecklers that they were at the wrong rally.
Setting off a frenzy of Christian memes against her.
Setting off counter memes. The cycle was endless.
And still the images of dead and injured children and their parents kept coming, young people being abused, elderly assaulted.
I turned to the Israeli defence force page and posted images of dead children in the comments every time I saw one. Which was often. I didn’t know what else to do with it this flood of distressing images. The rage I felt. Children are innocent. They must be protected.
Especially when the IDF made one of their ‘Eliminated’ posts.
Then I found the IDF babes profile, Israeli defence force women in spotlessly clean tight uniforms:

While food delivered in aid trucks to Gaza were being destroyed, and the people slowly starving.
I trolled the IDF babes with every image or video of a dead child I could find.
Around the world Jewish people were also crying out against the genocide in Palestine. In Israel, the instance of speech crimes has risen dramatically, as Israeli protestors are beaten by the police. Jewish people around the world put at risk because of these Zionist imbeciles.
The belief that the Jewish people are the chosen people of God is central to Zionism. The ‘chosen ones’. What argument does anyone have, against those who believe they are the ‘chosen ones’?
I will never say that Hamas did not rape on October 7, or those kept as hostages. We all know that rape is a war crime. It is is used as a systematic tool of genocide, and yet it is something consistently denied. We need to acknowledge rape as a crime against human rights. And having watched testimonies, I believe Hamas raped as an act of genocide.
But let’s not pretend that rape only happens on one side.

We practiced goddess worship for thousands of years before the Abrahamic religions. Islam, Christianity and Judaism only started less than 3,000 years ago. It’s clear to me already that these religions in no way represent a natural balance. After 3000 years it’s time to try something different. I am tired of these religions controlling who gets to be the ‘chosen ones’.
I’m not gonna lie. It’s obvious the world needs love. It’s time to bring back the goddess.

Please Kamala you must win. So much depends on it. I can’t survive, even in Australia another moment of this man’s influence infiltrating our airwaves. It’s not good for the world. I am not saying that is Trump’s intention, but it certainly is behind the intention of many of those who are behind him. Look at Project 25, with it’s religious agenda. It will tell you about the religious agenda behind the politics of America, which aligns with dictatorships all over the world. Those who control women. Those who kill homosexuals. These are the people who believe Trump is ‘The Chosen One’. Why else do you think Trump didn’t negotiate the USA’s departure from Afghanistan with the Afghan government, but instead with the Taliban?
There is a lot stacking up against you Kamala. Even Putin is helping Trump. And Netanyahu. They all want Trump to win, because they can do deals with him. But please, listen, you can make a difference. You can win. But you must speak out against this genocide!

What did Kamala Harris do? She sent Bill Clinton to campaign in Michigan, where there is a large population of Muslims, and reaffirm his Zionist rhetoric!
Even the Jeffrey Epstein interviews being released, where he talked about Trump being his ‘best mate’, and highlighting his likely involvement in sex trafficking were overlooked…

#HarrisSurge, #HarriswalzInAlandslide, #TrumpIsGoingDown kept up the enthusiasm in the final days. We can’t think about Genocide right now, there’s too much at stake. Surely, still Harris will win.

Yep, it’s very easy to blame western feminism.
But I can’t help feeling, you missed your chance to be ‘the chosen one’, by not saying NO to genocide.
As I type, the bombardment in Gaza continues, as well as in Lebanon supported by not just the USA but many mostly western countries including Australia and the UK. Please do not be silent. Speak out.
