Description
These elegant leaf print handmade gift tags shimmer in the light and can double as a Christmas decoration, small bookmark, for scrapbooking or a miniature art piece. Perfect for party favour gift tags or thank you notes for guests.
Each set is made to order. You can buy a single, sets of 3 or sets of 5 of the leaf imprint tags, or a set of 10 mixed print, which is 5 leaf print and 5 hand highlighted collage pieces.
For best effect use a metallic or brightly pigmented ink pen when writing on this charcoal coloured card. In your purchase is included a swath of card so you can test your pen first.
Each piece is unique, created through a multi-layered process of mixed media collage, mounting a botanical design printed on tracing paper, (based on beeswax crayon rubbings, watercolour and ink) onto 220 gsm charcoal coloured card and then printing directly onto the card with metallic watercolour from a native violet leaf. The final touch is the vintage linen thread which resists tangling.
Each one is sized approximately 10 X 4 cm or 3.94 x 1.57 inches.
